Scott Baio to Host First Annual Celebrity Baby Yard Sale

The Bailey Baio Angel Foundation, started by CMG Worldwide client Scott Baio and his wife Renee, will host the first annual “Celebrity Baby Yard Sale” on May 30 from 8am-4pm at the Sportsmen’s Lodge Hotel in Studio City, California.
All are invited to help raise much needed funds and awareness for organic acidemia metabolic disorders, and to support the children and families suffering from them.
Over 25 well-known baby apparel and gear companies will be selling merchandise at below retail prices, and celebrity parents such as Tracey Gold, Kristy Swanson and the Baios are donating new and gently-used items. One-of-a-kind auction items signed by John Travolta, Dennis Quaid, Hugh Hefner and others will also be up for grabs. There will be a $10 minimum donation at the door.
The Baios founded the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation after their newborn daughter Bailey tested positive for GA-1 metabolic disorder. Fortunately, 10 weeks later, the Baios were told that the tests were false positives and Bailey was actually in perfect health. After that scare, the Baios resolved to help other families that were not so fortunate. Thus, the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation was created to lobby mandatory screening of newborns for metabolic disorders, as well as to help the families with children that suffer them.
